Saw It on TikTok? Here's How to Get It at the China Price

Every week a new gadget goes viral on TikTok — and every week it often sells for several times what it costs in China. If you've ever watched a TikTok Shop live and thought "this has to be cheaper at the source," you're right. Here's the playbook.

Step 1: Capture it

Screenshot the product or copy the TikTok Shop link. The clearer the image, the faster the match — a straight-on product shot beats a lifestyle video still.

Step 2: Get it identified

Send the screenshot to someone who buys in China daily (that's me). I'll match it across 1688, Taobao, and wholesale markets. Most viral gadgets surface within a day — they're usually already bestsellers on 1688 before they ever trend on TikTok.

Step 3: Compare properly

The China price isn't the whole story. A real quote includes: goods price + my 15% service fee + international shipping at cost (first orders add a one-time handling fee, credited against the service fee on completion). Then compare against the TikTok/Amazon price. For most viral gadgets, the landed cost still wins by a wide margin — especially if you're buying 10+ units.

The honest caveats

• Viral ≠ quality. Some trending products are genuinely good; some are landfill with good lighting. My QC check catches the obvious duds before they ship.
• Timing matters. By the time a product peaks on TikTok, the best 1688 sellers sometimes raise prices too. Early in the trend = best price.
• Don't order 500 units of an untested viral product. Start small — that's what zero MOQ is for — test, then scale.

Send me the screenshot. Free quote, 1–2 days. That's the whole pitch.
