If you buy five products from five different sellers, you don't want five international parcels. Consolidated shipping — sometimes called combined shipping — merges them into one. Here's how it works in practice.
The process
- You order multiple items (different sellers, different platforms — doesn't matter).
- Everything ships domestically to one place (my receiving point).
- I check, repack, and combine them into as few parcels as possible.
- One international shipment goes out, with one tracking number.
When it saves money
International freight has a large per-parcel fixed component. Five separate 1 kg parcels almost always cost more than one 5 kg parcel — sometimes dramatically more. Consolidation also helps with volumetric weight: repacking five retail boxes into one tight carton usually reduces the billable volume.
When it doesn't
- If one item is ready weeks before the others, waiting for consolidation delays everything. Sometimes splitting is smarter — see real shipping timelines.
- Extremely heavy single items don't benefit — there's nothing to combine them with.
What consolidation costs with me
Nothing extra. It's part of the service — the 15% service fee covers sourcing, QC, and consolidation. You only pay the actual international freight.
A practical tip
Group your orders by readiness. If you're buying ten items, tell me which ones are urgent. I'll ship what's ready and consolidate the rest — you don't have to choose between speed and savings on the whole order.
Frequently asked questions
How long does consolidation add to the timeline?
Usually nothing — repacking happens during the standard 1–2 day QC window. It only adds time if we're deliberately waiting on a late item.
Can you consolidate items I bought myself elsewhere?
If you can have them shipped to my receiving point in China, yes. Message me first so we coordinate timing.
What do you want to import from China?
Message me with pictures or links. I'll reply within 24 hours — your firm quote follows in 1–2 days (48 hours for orders with 6+ different items).
